Pig Out in the Park

Every Labor Day weekend in downtown Spokane there is this huge festival called "Pig Out in the Park". It's just tons and tons of food. I heard on the news that there was something like 250 different things to eat down there. Shawn and I usually go one day to get our fill of all things food. There is literally every type of food you could ever want. Mexican food, Thai food, pizza, desserts, BBQ, shrimp tacos, burgers, and funnel cakes, just to name a few. Our favorite thing to get there is the "southern style" corn on the cob. It is SO good. They steam in with the husks on is these huge barbecuers. Then when you buy it, they pull of the husks and dip the whole thing in butter. The corn is so moist and delicious. Pure bliss. We wandered around munching for a while and I finally got some huge chocolate covered strawberries to finish out the day. They were so big and tasty. All in all, it was a fun, yummy day.
