Saturday evening in Spokane was the Lilac Armed Forces Parade, so Shawn and I grabbed our lawn chairs and made our way downtown to watch the festivities. Both of Shawn's nieces were in the parade for their high school, so we got to watch them as well. Here is a photo of the crowd waiting for the parade to begin.

The parade got started with some planes flying overhead.
And here's the Mt Spokane marching band in which Shawn's nieces are in.
It was a really fun parade to watch and it was a perfect night for it all.
