Kids to Hockey

We took the kiddos to the Chiefs game last night. First we stopped at Round Table Pizza, where we waited f...o...r...e...v...e...r... for our food. It seriously took almost 45 minutes for our pizza to arrive. The children waited patiently after playing out all of the available quarters in the arcade. Finally we arrived at the game only to discover that the start time was delayed because of the NCAA tournament! What?!?! They actually delayed the Chiefs playoffs because the Gonzaga game (in Portland) wasn't over? Wow. That right there is proof that Spokane has some serious Zag fever. So we had more time to wait patiently... Here's a photo of Hayden showing off his tattoo.

Here we are awaiting the start of the game. As you can see by the empty stands behind us, we seemed to be the only ones who didn't get the memo about the delayed start.

The kids had so much fun once the game finally started. We stuffed them full of pizza, pop, m&m's, Skittles, and popcorn. Oh yeah, and a lollipop. Sorry Jules, but they were probably totally wired when I brought them home. :) Here's a little video I shot of them having fun and cheering loud for the Chiefs. (Who lost to Seattle, btw.)
