Happy New Year!

For New Year's Eve this year we met up with a bunch of friends for a nice dinner, and then we went downtown for First Night Spokane. It's a whole event celebrating arts and culture in Spokane. It was pretty cool - they do different things every hour at like 30 locations all over downtown and you can go to whatever one suits your fancy at any given time from 7pm until midnight. First we checked out the snowboarding rail jam.
We also saw a chainsaw ice sculptor carver (below), some really good tap dancing brothers, a hilarious comedy show, and some Irish dancers to name a few. Then near midnight, we made our way down to the center of the park in downtown to see the fireworks go off and to bring in the new year. It ended up being a cold rainy/snowy night, but it was still fun. How cute are we???Waiting for the fireworks to go off. 10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...3...2...1...HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I know this year is going to be great - We get married this year! Exactly one month to go until I'm a Mrs!
