Shawn's Birthday was this week, and I made him dinner to mark the celebration. He was the first one to be able to use the "you are special today" plate, so I had to commemorate it with a photo. Anyway, I made halibut and rice for dinner, he opened presents, and then we ate cake! I made a cute little layered one, and it turned out pretty good. It was a little tipsy, but not bad for a rookie baker!

Oh, Shawn! Why does he look so mad in front of his cake?! Isn't he supposed to be happy on his birthday?!
